  I've taken all 3 of my pets (dogs and cats) to 3rd Ave Vets for many years after a local person recommended them to me soon after I moved to Sandgate. I've always received the best care you can get from all of their staff. More recently my 15 year old Beagle needed a large surgery for removal of 8 teeth and a big 4.5cm external benign lump that had formed on her back leg and some smaller ones that were starting to form. Prior to the surgery I was very worried about her age and ability to cope with the operation but I knew these issues would get worse for her. After several consultations with Holly and Randal, I was given options without pressure. Only 2 weeks post-op and my Beagle is running around happy, active and healthier than ever (and naughty again!). The wound from the lump was so well done that it healed very quickly and they helped her with pain relief to get her through the worst of it. I'm incredibly happy with the job they've done. All the nursing and admin staff have been so caring and helpful along the way as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their service.

  We are with Dr Randal since a few years now and each time with several HUGE problems- he was the best Vet we could find. Teeth extractions - no problems. Every year checks, huge and severe operation for Grisu our Springer Spaniel was operated with a real bad knee and arthritis- now hopping around like a young bunny again.
  Without Dr Randal and Team and also a affordable price structure- we could have done this operations- thanks again.

  Pleasant service from Maddie at reception and a caring and thorough consultation from Dr Randal. Couldn't be happier. This will be our new Veterinarian for the future.
